Im trying to find some long schrader valve 700x23c tubes for my bike, as I absolutely hate presta valves. however I need a schrader valve that is long like the presta valves. do you guys know where I can find some to buy online? Im looking for the cheapest possible price.

Would a valve stem extension work for you?

I'd expect valve stem extenders to save money since you'd only buy a set once and could then use any regular tubes at the cheapest sale price available. OTOH, tubes with extra long Schrader valve stems are likely to sell for a premium and be hard to find.

Or, get this, OR you could use two 25 cent presta valve adapters.

Or you could be real frugal like and just use ONE when you need it.

Hope I saved you a gorillian doll hairs.

Some Walmarts have long Schrader valves to fit the Denali. Must be about 25mm rims.

I ordered some through QBP before, also, if you have a local shop that does then they might get some for ya.

A-ha. Universal has 28-32 with a 48mm schrader stem - the 9th one down. Can probably stuff 'em in 25mm tires if you wanna, just make sure you don't have tube under the bead. I wouldn't put 'em in 23s personally. Doubt you can get Schraders that skinny.

That's the ticket. Now he's just gotta drill out his rims and he's in business. Unless it's a GMC Denali, then they're already drilled

What? Why? Especially WTF WHY if you're gearing up to drill your rim out.

Get two of these and be done with it-

Yeeeeaaah NO! Unless your rims are drilled for schrader, you are wasting your time, money and breath looking for these things. If you are good to presta, presta is good to you. If you aren't confident in your pumping abilities or have a ****e pump get some valve adaptors as others have mentioned. Or get a good pump that has a hose on it so you aren't pump directly on the valve. I recommend the Topeak Morph Series or the Race Rockets, they both have a hose and the Race Rockets are small and neatly tuck in and screw on to the end of the valve and work great.

Cheap tubes are just that cheap tubes, some work ok and some just have failures from poor manufacturing. What that can mean is MORE MONEY. People who try and save at the beginning, pay in the end.

Kenda tubes are pretty good IME. If he wants fancy and his rims ain't too deep (like cxp22s, for instance) he could run Schwalbe 40mm Schraders. They're fully threaded with locknut so once you push it through the hole you can thread on that nut for easier fully flat pumping.
