So I am building a new bike, help with frame choice please?

Inexpensive with quality that works is one thing but Cheap ain't.

Well, perhaps I just haven't had much experience with high end caliper brakes, but unless it's some sort of stamped metal part, most decent name brand brakes will work fine. Most of the feel is related to housing and cable.

Decent brakes, Decent housing and decent levers properly set up should have no issues
