Carbon Frame Mystery
Good day, this fellow has a carbon frameset and says its a "Ganghzen" which I have never ever ever heard of nor can I dig up any dirt on it.
Does anyone have any information on this? *I think the correct spelling is Gangzhen http://s13.postimg.org/vke672sbb/ganghzen.jpg |

Yup, I'll pass.

If tthe frame looked to be in good shape and the price was right I would seriously consider it.

Seller is asking $500 including stem, all-city bars, seat and seatpost and everything is brand new. There was a fella on another forum that snapped the fork when racing at a velodrome when his chain snapped and all his pressure was put onto the bars. Scary stuff...
Anyway that's way too much for that frame. Pretty sure they're about $400 on Ebay and come with the seatpost so a good price to me would be around $200-$250 max. |
Alright, thanks for the advice!

Was it the same frame and fork? If not it doesn't matter.

They're actually about 600 delivered. 400 is more like a reasonable price with the included extras.

Nice aluminum > cheap carbon

The guy says he doesn't know how to ship a bike, so I am definitely going to stay away from it. But I appreciate the advice.

This confuses me. How does a broken chain lead to more weight on the handlebars? |
I am guessing the rider was out of seat and hammering on the pedals...?
