Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

FGFS rims.. I know I know..

SO, I'm only posting in here because it seems the FGFS thread is somewhat dead. I've been trying to find a decent 700c rim that will seat a 45-50c tire. All I have been able to come up on are 26"s.. Figured I'd ask if anyone knows of anywhere to go that has some good options!

This will accept a 50mm tire just fine, but I'm not sure if it would be OK for free style.

Sun Ringle Rhyno Lite 700c 40h Black Rim w/ Silver sides, Presta valve - Modern Bike

Bit cheaper than the velocity, but more boxy. Not sure how it would hold up for FGFS.
