I like the Grumpys ride idea! from Dinkytown its probably 17-20 miles to Coon Rapids one way.. and there is an off rode bike path on Marshall/ East River Road
its pretty bumpy for road wheels but it gets you off the street for a few miles where the speed limit is 55 then back to the road from fridley on

Edit: oHh now that i think about it after grumpys in Coon Rapids we could end with a bon fire at the C.R. dam.. theres gotta be tons of wood down there

The owner was telling everyone how nice of a "donation" he recieved from someone on the board. He is definitely REALLY REALLY appreciative of your generosity!

You could always start there. It leaves around 6p so you might get more ride time in, plus if it's not what you like could always peal off and do your own thing.

I don't think I'll make this weeks ride. I'm planning on a 52 miler out by White Bear starting at 11a Saturday morning. I'm guessing I'll be pretty pooped by the time I finish.

Seems interesting. Looking forward to this Saturday, want to do some miles. I might bring a friend that I fixed up with a single speed commuter. Ink1373 I'm going to be part of the sober contengent, if you're interested in peeling off and doing a coffee joint ride.
Anyone down for a post-Saturday Sunday morning ride?

I just stopped by OneOnOne and their ride is usually offroad, I guess.

I usually don't get up to early after the Saturday rides...

Hey,
I'm down for a sober ride Sunday morning, cause this Sat. I'm gonna start this martial arts class at 5:30pm Sat, and I might be too tired to do the regular one. Death In Transit might be into it as well.
Send me a PM with more info.

Bike died. As a sober stop, we should hit up Spokes Pizza (Duh!) get some awesome pizza and some good soda.

I was at Hard Times at 6 with the sister's boyfirend's bike. Got to ride that thing around ALL day. I like this naturally waking up at 9am thing.

**** you, beer! Hahahaha!

Damn. I go on vacation for a while and all of a sudden you guys are dialin' up satellite maps of the ride and using GPS' ?!?! I joked about such things once on here when some luddite was b*tching about us "hipsters" discussing the ride on a forum, but I didn't realize that my jokes were that close to home.

BTW, does anyone know how to configure laser-measured odometers?
