langster seattle or kilo tt

Between a kilo tt with bullhorns and a langster seattle edition with new bullhorn handlebars and new pedals, or a mercer kilo tt with dop down bullhorn handle bars with a Tektro RL570 front brake, Vittoria Zaffiro tires, and White Julian Deep V's non-machined. both are around 300. I'm leaning toward the langster due to the fact that the fenders are included and the resale value is probably better if I end up deciding I want to sell it (although he's asking 325 vs 300 for the kilo). Which would you go with?

Also- I am about 5'8 and a half, with a very short inseam, however I generally like to size up (as long as the standover isnt too high). THe top tubes on the 2009 langster and 2010 kilo seem to be about the same at 548 and 547 iirc.

Kilo

Buy a new Kilo TT for $400 and get the right size.
Julians aren't anything special and are very heavy from what I have read. and those tires are budget.

Are those the EFFECTIVE top tube lengths you listed? Both bikes have different geometry, and the langster has a sloped top tube.

Do you want an aluminium or steel bike?
Do you want bullhorns or drops?
Do you know the condition of the bikes?

These are questions you need at ask yourself, not us as we won't be buying or riding it.

You shouldn't be worrying about re-sale value before you even buy a bike. Buy the bike you want to ride now and in the future, not the one you want to sell. Don't buy a bike because of accessories (i.e. Fenders) that you can add yourself very easily and cheaply.

Kilo because I hate sloping top tubes.

Agreed, i meant the fender/resale comment more as a tiebreaker, since one has a msrp or around 759 and the other 400, but they are both currently priced the same.

Just cosmetically, or is it something with how they ride?
