cruisers take 24" wheels (and occasionally 26"). actually, depending on the frame design, it might be possible to fit a 650c wheel into a 24" cruiser frame.

That might not be a bad idea for a fun little project.

I want to see an old schwinn krate with a big back wheel, a little front wheel and track drop handlebars, just to freak out all the squares

i think if i do this, i'm gonna try a 24" rear with a 20" front. frankenfunnybike!

yaaaaayy. consider me satisfied. awesome bike shiznaz. i'm still passively collecting parts in accordance with my "one project at a time" goal...but this post is definetly moving the BMX monstrosity up on the priority list. thanks for proving that a 6 foot 2 person could pull this off.

Wow, that thing's freakier than all my weird bikes put together. Nice work.

Those softride's are pretty pimp....I was thinking about getting one

That was my dream bmx frame when I was growing up. I wanted it sooooooooo bad. At 24 I'm already feeling old, some might consider that frame vintage.
