Mexico City
Going to be in Mexico City later in the month and wondering if there are riders that get together casually on the weekend to ride, perhaps similar to what one sees in many American cities around local bike shops? I am usually interested in a typical "B" ride, 40-60 miles, around 18 mph (though may be riding less and slower because of the altitude effect). Also wondering if there is a reliable and reputable place to rent a good road bike for the day? Thanks!

Hey there Imogoldber;
there are some clubs, one of the most famous is biciperros link:https://biciperros.org/
they always gather at parque hundido on sundays (southern Mexico city) and their trips usually are 80 km+ long. Their trips are directed to different levels but mainly medium and expert riders.
you can make contact with them once you get here.
Also They can help you providing you a bike, their interest as on many american clubs, Is having fun while meeting people.
