38 Miles / 2643 Feet Climbing / 16 MPH Average / No Drop / Saturday, February 6 @ 10 AM

What: A hilly 38 mile road ride ride through West Cobb and East Paulding Counties
Where: Ride starts at Publix Shopping Center, Brookstone Villiage, Corner Mars Hill Rd and Stilesboro Rd, Cobb County, Acworth, Georgia
When: Saturday, Feb 6, 2016 at 10:00 AM

This will be a structured (no drop) road ride over typically hilly West Cobb and East Paulding county terrain on paved public roads. Starting at Publix in Acworth, we will avoid the Seven Hills area by riding west into Paulding County via County Line and Mt. Tabor Roads. Rolling Ivey Gullege Rd will take us to the fast descent down County Farm Rd. The route picks up the Silver comet Trail in Dallas and then heads north on rolling Poplar Springs for the return to Acworth. There will be opportunities for store stops at miles 11, 17 and 26 as decided by the group.

We will ride as a group with an emphasis on safety, courtesy and comraderie. Average pace is expected to be 16 MPH but no one ever gets lost or left behind on my rides. Faster riders are welcome but the group will not chase and if you are off the front then you are on your own. Post here if you would like to lead a fast A or AA paced group or just come out and spin on some great local roads.

Rain, ice or snow cancels the ride. Right now the forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with an overnight low of 32° rising to 52° later in the day and a 0% chance of rain. Check this thread before heading out if in doubt.

Routes are linked below. I'll post a PDF cue sheet later in the week. Hope to see you there.
