Anyone else riding this event? Not a lot of elevation change (hey, it's Florida) but a nice warm way to end the 2018 riding season for those of us in colder climes...

Not really, as I've never ridden this event before.
But based on the many, many organized centuries and fondos I've ridden, just make sure your bike is in decent condition and pick the right course length.
OK to push yourself a bit in mileage (again, it's flat so you can ride further than you would in a place like Wisconsin), and take your time.
As a good friend once told me "You have nobody to impress and all day to do it".

I was thinking about riding the weekend on a tandem with the SO, and then maybe going over to Inverness and riding the Withlacoochee trail.

Neat.
I'm from Virginia, but like a warm ride to end the season.
In past years have ridden the Tucson Fondo, but my friend has moved away so decided to give this a shot.
