Natty Greene's Double Down to the Beach - Double Century

Greensboro, NC, to Myrtle Beach, SC. 204 Miles, near the summer solstice, lots of daylight for this ride.

Local brewery, "Natty Greene's" has joined as a sponsor, and will provide carbohydrate-laced recovery beverages at the finish. Riders will find their own way home, presumably after taking in a day on the beach resting up from the effort.

Oh,this sounds so tempting...my ride compadre's here in Tampa Bay have been jonesing for a long one day ride...we are planning on doing the Cross Fla. ride (170 miles in one day) next year...this one sounds like a winner!

Cool temps, calm winds, and an epic day. This ride had groups finishing at 20mph average, way down to nearly midnight. Look for this one next year (my ride, 212 miles, 12.5 hrs on the bike, 15 hrs total)
