Aww! D: And I'm all the way up here in Wisconsin. Martians, why couldn't you do this earlier? It would have been fun.

I have been looking forward to this all summer. Rode the Heart of Virginia this weekend as a warm up. Here's hoping for cool weather and clear skies.

Also signed up for this one with a couple of friends, looks like a great route around the Richmond area. Have to drive down Friday afternoon to pick up my packet (I'm closer to DC), so will be free Friday evening if anyone wants to get together for dinner and swap bike lies. PM me if interested.

As of noon today, almost 900 riders are signed up, about half for the full 102 mile Gran Fondo route. Fun!
