Sat 12/26 "County Farm Ride" 38mi/16MPH/No Drop
What: a 37.9 mile ride through the rolling hills of East Paulding and West Cobb Counties.
Where: Ride starts in the Publix parking lot, Brookstone Village, corner of Mars Hill Rd and Stilesboro Rd, Acworth, Georgia.
When: Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 10:00 AM
This will be a rolling 37.9 mile ride starting at Brookstone Village in Acworth, Georgia. We will ride through Seven Hills, Ivey Gullege and down the long descent on County Farm Rd from which the ride get's its name. The route picks up the Silver Comet Trail in Dallas for a few miles and then heads north again on rolling Poplar Springs Rd for the return to Acworth.
Rain cancels the ride. Right now the forecast is mostly cloudy with a low of 61° rising through the low 70's at ride time, 5-7 MPH winds with a 15% chance of rain. Check this thread before heading out if in doubt.
I hope to see you there.

This is a structured (no drop) ride. No one will get lost or left behind. We will ride as a group not faster than 16MPH average. Faster riders are welcome but please don't expect a chase and if you are off the front then you are on your own. Post here if you would like to lead a fast A or AA group or just come out and spin on some great local roads. There will be opportunities for store stops at miles 12, 18 and 26 as decided by the group. Garmin Connect: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/11213200
