Monthly 40 Mile Mixed Pavement/Gravel Ride - Sat June 10 - Dallas, Georgia
A 40 mile mixed surface loop of some of the quietest and most scenic roads in Paulding County is planned for Saturday, June 10.
The route contains 7 gravel sectors totalling about 10 miles. Gravel is mostly well groomed over packed dirt. The remaining 30 miles are over typical rolling Paulding County pavement and includes the climb up Braswell Mountain Rd. Store stops around mile 15 and again at mile 30 as decided en route.
I will ride at a 15-16 MPH pace. Faster riders are welcome to ride off the front and nobody will get dropped or left behind.
The ride starts at Rambo Trailhead, Silver Comet Trail in Dallas, GA @ 9:00 AM. Heavy rain or thunder cancels the ride so check this thread if in doubt before heading out.
