Routes in eastern NC?
Visiting in laws near the Croatan NF outside New Bern, NC next month. I've been down a few times and rode around but looking for route suggestions from locals. I've got an allroad bike and happy to hold gravel or pavement.
Croatan NF routes have been a mixed bag. I've wound up on some nasty 4x4 trails and done a lot of the gravel travel roads but if anyone has a certain route they like please share.
Hard to find routes down that way!

Doing some more research I found this cycling group out of Greenville, may be able to join for one of their standing rides: https://ecvelo.org/. Also had some routes posted on their website.
