Anybody riding the Myrtle Beach Marathon rides?
Feb. 19. They have 10, 30 and 65 mile routes planned.
My son and I are doing the 30. Would love to meet some other members there.
https://www.mbmarathon.com and then click on Michelob Ultra bike rides.

I have not heard of that one before. Should be a good ride. Have fun! I'll have to check into it for next year!

There is a chance I will be there. I was planning on running the half marathon and the 30 mile ride, but I have an injury that might prevent both from happening.

hope you heal quick, KB. If you are there, look for "Team Spongebob" as my boy and I will be wearing our jerseys.

I've been thinking about riding it, but I'm not 100% as of yet. I'll PM you if I decide on it, GamecockTaco.

COLD!! Ha! Actually, after the first couple of hours, it wasn't that bad.
I did the 30 - 16 of that with my 6 year old and 8 year old at about 7-8 MPH. I finally put them in the SAG wagon after 16 miles when it passed by us again and they said they were cold. I then finished up on my own while my wife picked up the boys.
All in all, not a bad ride at all. Roads were good, not too terribly crowded, although there were a few drivers that seemed like they were in a rush to put a fire out somewhere. But, I guess you get that everywhere that the roads aren't closed. Course was well marked other than 1 turn, but there was a MB policeman at that turn to ensure everybody made it.
I think I finished near last, but had a great time with my kids and each has vowed to do more.......when it gets warmer.
