My Stolen Ride - Pinellas County FL
Yet again another sob story...
If any of you riding in Pinellas County see a blue Surly LHT rolling through the streets please let me know. I had a unique setup on this rig so here goes my shot in the dark at getting my bike back
Surly LHT - Blue
Shimano Tiagra - all the components
Something else unique...the brakes have a travel agent on them attached to some direct pull brakes.
Please help. Thanks.

I've been riding some of the trails in Pinellas. Do you have any photos of the bike? A visual would help.
Did you call the cops about this theft? <-- stoopid question, but i'll ask anyway.

I don't have a good picture of my bike but here is a similar looking one. Mine has the same color similar rack, triple chain ring, and black wraped drop bars

Thanks for the info...and thanks for keeping your eye out for this bike!
Yes, I have checked the local pawn shops. And the local club said they would allow me to put a post in their news letter.
Thanks Again

I found my bike! It was in the back room of a pawn shop not too far from the house.
They were trying to sell it on e-bay.
Thanks to all of you who were looking around.

Chris...
Yes the police had to verify that it was my bike through the SN. A detective and the pawnshop manager then signed a bunch of paperwork. I had to pay the pawned price to the shop and it was mine.

Damn, that's just wrong that you had to pay the pawn shop. I would have thought the cops would have just impounded it and then turned it over to you. How much did they criminals get for it.
