Biking in Atlanta, GA

I'm going to be in Atlanta for the long weekend this weekend and was wondering if there were any one time or weekly rides worth checking out. I'l be staying up in the Buckhead area.

The Saturday AM ride out of the Vinnings Atlanta Cycling is a good one. 9AM training ride for the fast guys (I think) and 10 for the rest of us...

Check the Southern Bicycle League's calendar - www.bikesbl.org. Tons of rides each month.
Click on calendar on the website. You'll have to register. No big deal. They just like to keep track of the number of users.

Atlanta Cycling is having a Fourth of July ride in an area called Silk Sheets. It is 50 miles with shorter options and a picnic afterwards. PM me with your email address and I can forward the information to you.

Thanks for offering some info but I'm still recuperating from some back issues. I'll be back on the bike soon enough but still wasn't ready this past weekend.
