Arkansas Rider - Big Dam Bridge Ride

I have family in Arkansas and really love the city of Little Rock so this ride appealed to me for several reasons. I am about 4 months back in to riding after a long hiatus and have been doing mostly 25 - 35 mile rides here in the Dallas Fort Worth area. I know that Arkansas can be very hilly so I'm curious about the difficulty of this ride.

I just did the 25 mile route at the Hotter'N Hell and really wished I had done the 50. However, hills in West Texas are not anything like hills in Arkansas. Apples and oranges...

Does anyone have experience with the 32 and/or 50 mile routes? How would you rate the ride level? Beginner or intermediate?

Thanks!

I've done the 100 mile route which covers the same ground. The hills aren't bad compared to some of the rides up in the Ozarks or Ouachitas. This is mainly river valley riding, a few rollers but nothing really bad or long. Hope you can make it. I'll be doing it again this year.

ODB is right. This ride, particularly the 50 mile route (to Mayflower via Maumelle Blvd. and back) is flat. A roller here and there but we're really talking TT terrain. Given that, in my experience, mileage is a mental rather than physical game many times, you should have no problems with this course. Me and several friends from my church in Conway will be doing the 50 if you'ld like to plug into a group. Hope you're able to make it, anyways!
