Clarksville, TN?

Anyone out there around Clarksville? Im new to the city and am looking for a group to do some road and mountain biking. I have no clue where the good roads to ride on are around this city, and as for MTB, it would be great to split gas costs with someone to hit up some of the better trails a little farther off.

if you're into mountain biking, check out

I'm sure there are some c-vegas people on there.

I'm not sure about where you're at, but by me which is about about 1 hour away for you there are some very nice trails at Montgomery bell state park.

You go via highway 13 which turns into 49, then a left onto highway 47 towards white bluff... take that to hwy 70 heading west (right) and the road is about 2 miles on the right - there is a wooden sign that says MBSP mountain bike trials or something like that. The parking area is about a mile down that road on your right.

anyway - the NMB people will get you squared away in no time.

road routes

Its been a while since it was posted but I am new to road biking in clarksville. Have a look here this is the website for the clarksville sunrise century and it has the 30, 60 and 100 mile routes used. If you look around the kenwood church you will find a nice quiet (and marked with arrows route. the following link is a route we did (approx 9.5 miles and while there we encountered other cyclists. It is quiet and very little traffic (on the sunday we did it). using the webpage provided you can map more routes in the area out and know how far you will do.

Hope it helps
