Watching the Weather Channel, having been house bound by bad weather myself, you guys and gals along the Gulf Coast and Southern Georgia batten down and be careful.

Since last Thursday we have had 15 inches of rain in SW GA. Schools closed today. Many roads have water over them in the low spots, even the 4 lane highway 84 was closed at a creek bridge. Today we had no rain but plenty of sunshine. Water is draining from everywhere. We were 8 inches behind in our rain fall for the year but no more. It was almost as bad as last year during Tropical Storm Faye when we had 20 inches in 3 days.
