Anyone Rent a Condo on Hilton Head?
I would like to get my wife to the beach in the next week or two.....lots of stress related stuff going on in our lives and the beach helps. Anyone here ever rent a condo near the beach on Hilton Head Island? Can you make any recommendations and is it worth taking my road bike?
Thanks guys,
Steve

Never rented a condo at HH but have used https://www.vrbo.com/ to rent a condo in Florida and a house on St. George Island near Apalachicola, Florida. I'd give them
They rent houses and condos at HH. Check it out.

I've been going there for 20 years or so ... in-laws have a place. You can easily find a last-minute deal. YES bring road bike, I ride down there every time I go. IMO you probably want to be down on the south end of the island, in Sea Pines Plantation, where it's a little quieter. Look for rentals in the South Beach section of Sea Pines, for example -- near the Salty Dog Cafe.
Sea Pines could be somewhat expensive if you want something near the beach. So another alternative I can recco is Shipyard Plantation. Within Shipyard, try to find something in Brigantine Quarters (the complex where my in-law's place is) or Port O'Call. There are a million rental companies that serve Hilton Head, but I'd start with www.hiltonheadrentals.com.
Good luck!

Island Getaways has a good variety of rentals.
Vacation Time of Hilton Head is good with loads of beachfront units.
