New bike shop here in Mount Dora, FL

Just wanted to say hi and if you are in Mount Dora, FL area stop and and check us out. It's a small family shop. We carry Fuji, GT and soon Tomac brands. Of course we do full service and have a selection of parts and supplies. Don't expect to be WOW'd by Hundreds of bikes like some of the bigger shops around town but the service is friendly and quick. It's usually just my wife and I at the shop with our 2 y/o son and newborn daughter.

About myself, I am an old mountain biker that has hung up his camelback for 700x23mm tires. I don't ride as much as I used too or want too. Maybe I will meet some of you folks and start riding more myself. I've worked on bikes for over 8 years. I started when I was i college to pay my way through school. After college I went into construction management. Now construction has gone down the drain so I went back to my love for cycling. They say do something you love and I am. I stopped riding while in construction so I lost 3 years of technology updates but my fine distributors are helping me catch up. Did I miss the single speed revolution yet?

Anyways, have a great day! Happy riding!

Congrats on the new business and well wishes. I usually try to ride around Mt. Dora when I'm in Florida. There is some really nice biking around there, and in Clermont too. I will look you up next time I'm there (probably late September).

Congratuations on the new Business and hope it all works out for you. Only get up that way every month or so when the urge hits to try the FL Mountains, but good to know there's another place to look for needed supplies and work while up that way. Similar to above, I plan on being up that way on Sep 13th for an assult on Sugarloaf and then again for the 10th of Oct for the Mt Dora Bike Festival.

Thanks - it's hard to do without the support of all the LBSs

A SS in Mt Dora? That would be "fun".

^ No problem Ron. I just had it there in case someone needed directions. You can't purchase anything from the website so no big deal.

Thanks, Neal and Drew, for the well wishes. It is funny hearing someone say "Florida mountains" though. Mount Dora is more of a hill than a mountain. lol. I do hope to see some more people in October during the bike festival and later in the year. I know right now isn't exactly the best time for biking. The local support in Mount Dora has been great though. I love this town.
