Yea this has been around a while. Would be nice if they can link up to Duval County as well. It's suppose to run down the beach and back up the St. John's river in a 260 mile loop.

I wonder if that plan is part of the one that includes a trail from East Palatka to St. Augustine along the old railroad tracks that goes through Hastings from Palatka. There were plans to convert the old RR tracks (tracks are already gone) that run along side State Road 100 west of Palatka to Keystone Heights and beyond. I know up towards Keystone some of it is already paved, 4 or 5 miles I think. I used to ride my mountain bike along the old tracks on SR. 100, they used to keep it cut, not really cleared but cut. Last time I checked they were not even doing that.
