Saint Marys, GA / Jacksonville, FL area?

I'm moving down there from NJ for 9 months (Sept-June) -- anyone know any road group rides, clubs, teams, shops in the area?

Look up North Florida Bicycle club or Velobrew if you're fast enough to play with them. The folks at North Florida have a pretty good club and are friendly to outsiders or at least they were to me. My grandkids live in Jacksonville. Biggest problem is the language barrier. Do you speak Jacksonville? I'm not sure many of them speak NJ

, Good one RedC.

Lots of rides in the area, do you know what side of town you will be on?

I'll be in Saint Marys, right by the naval sub base. Being from NJ I'm used to everything being so dense, I hope it's nicer riding down there.

Thanks for the info!

Well be prepared for not so dense. St. Mary's pretty much small town life compared to what you are used to.
