Where da hills at ?
My bike is still in pieces and my waistline is expanding rapidly. Where's a good, reasonably priced LBS that could put it back together for me? Aside from A1A, are there any good routes here? Any group rides I should check out? Thanks in advance.

Hills are the bridges the go over the Intracoastal, this is the best you will get without going to central Florida. Bike shop, Pompano has B & J on Sample; Deerfield has Bicycle Generation on Hillsboro. But, if you want a shop that actually knows things go to Racers Edge in Boca Raton, well worth the trip for guys who know what they are doing.

Last Friday of every month is Critical Mass. 100+ bikes on a 20 mile ride in Downtown Miami.
Usually every Saturday a small group of us ride from Coral Springs to Deerfield Beach.
Unfortunatly there aren't many good rides in the area. MAybe we can get some more going!

Thanks for the suggestions. I got a saddle from Racer's Edge last week and was pretty impressed with the service. I also started riding with a group that goes from the Cove shops parking lot on Hillsboro to Lake Ave and back on Sundays at 7 am, ~20-25 mph. Come along if you're in the area!

There is some good riding around Clermont. There are a number of hills there. There is nothing long. Sugarloaf is the longest at .5 mile at 7% with a max of 14% or is it 12%? Buckhill is the longest sustained steep climb in FL that I have seen and it is probably about 10%. The steepest road I know of is Thrill Hill. The steep part is really short but it hits about 16%.

There's a short 4.4 mile loop around Pompano Air Park. I did it six times yesterday. Now and then, it's nice to get away from traffic.
