Nashville area flood survey ride.

I had intended to ride down to the boat ramp but was only able to make it half way as the road is still under water.

Suggs Creek in Wilson County at flood stage.

http://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs522...._3841915_n.jpg The end of my journey. Rockdale-Fellowship Road in Rutherford County. Road is about 10 feet underwater. From the debris in the trees it was probably twice as deep on Sunday.

Rain certainly made a big mess. We were spared in East Tennessee with "only" three inches.

Yeah, I think they said there were spots of Nashville that had 15"+.
In the picture on Rockdale-Fellowship road there is a steep and deep sag curve there. Yesterday I was able to ride through there and there was an SUV that had been completely submerged beside that barn.
The waters are coming down in Nashville, but now everything is covered in trash and mud pretty much from Hartsville to at least Clarksville and probably beyond.

I took 2 nice spills on Shelby bottoms with the mud covered path on my way home from work a couple weeks ago. Everything seems to be cleaned up or washed away with the recent rains.
