Visiting wifes siter in Winston Salem NC, should I bring my bike?
July 5th -10th driving from Tula, OK so I have the option of bringing the bike. What is the geography like and is it bike friendly? I recreationally ride 100-150 miles per week, several group rides. I don't have an exact area yet, but wll in a couple of days.

Yes, I do all the time. There are hilly areas, and if you want mountains, you could stop in Asheville. Check out mapmyride for routes, I usually ride out of Lewisville when I'm in Winston-Salem.

I would! Google Greensboro Velo Club and the MTB part Fat Tire Society. Greensboro is 30 min from Winston and worth the trip for some good riding! Ufortunatrly I don't know much about the riding that way.....have fun!

Lot's of nice riding in the area. Rolling hills for the most part. You'll regret not bringing your bike.
I haven't ridden in W-S metro for 5 or 6 years and I personally don't care for riding in cities. If you go out of town NC rural roads are generally pretty good. Take US 52 north towards Pilot Mountain and you'll find lots of good riding. A little further and you can get on the Blue Ridge Parkway at the VA state line area at Fancy Gap. Not a really challenging part of it as far as hills go but very pretty.
