Ozark Roadies Ride to Mt. Gaylor and Beyond 5-29-2010

Yesterday, 21 Roadies left Drake Field in Fayetteville, Arkansas for a ride down Old 71, which is now designated as a scenic byway. Most traffic travels I-540 now, and Old 71 is now a wonderful cycling road with wide shoulders in most places. We stopped at the Winslow Square and then continued our ride up to Mt. Gaylor - 44 miles. Three Roadies continued on down the Mountain to Mountainburg for a total of 65.5 miles and a little over 3,000 ft. of climbing. I am going to try to post some pics. Have not done this before, so hope it works. Well, it worked - sorta. Had to resize so they are a little funny looking.
