New to Tampa area
Hellooooo! I just moved to Plant City from Austin TX and I'm looking to ride! I'm newish to bikes, and I have a fixie. Anybody ride in Tampa that wants to hook up? So far I've really only ridden to work except for taking my mtb out on the trail.

I'm out at Flatwoods on the offroad trails pretty regularly, although with the work situation it's been a good couple of weeks since i've had a day off. I also ride the Pinellas Trail a bit over in Clearwater, Wednesdays is my beer ride if you are interested.
It'll probably be a couple of weeks before I get a day off again, but when that happens I'm down for a ride

There is a group ride out of USF. Not sure what days anymore.---that one tends to be pretty fast paced. Best to ask at one of the Tampa bike shops for when and where rides leave from that have groups of different speed levels to find one you might enjoy. The St. Petersburg Bicycle club has a large contingent and while not necessarily close to plant city could potentially point you in the right direction absent success closer to home.

I live on the East side of Valrico. https://ajsbikesandboards.com/article...vents-pg37.htm Check out the link. They have the info for some group rides that aren't too far away from you. My wife and I usually do our own thing. We ride just south of Plant City on the same routes that the group rides are on. Traffic usually isn't too bad weekend mornings and in the evenings. AJ's is a good place to get some local info.
