Upper Tampa Bay Trail Is Fantastic
I rode the Upper Tampa Bay Trail in September 2011. This is one of the most scenic trails I've ever ridden. And it definitely seems longer than 8 miles. There are 5 trailheads here, some self-pay ($2) some free. See more info and photos on my website: https://www.trailviewmount.com

I ride the UT a lot and do like it. It's going to get better when they complete the underpass at Sheldon so you won't have to cross that road.

Absolutely DEK. I live in Sarasota so I'm looking forward to visiting the trail again. Please keep me updated on the underpass completion.

Now being able to ride under the road makes this a pleasant and much safer ride.
