I split time between western NC and the upstate of SC, but am also routinely traveling to Atlanta and Charlotte. I picked up a 1987 Schwinn Tempo, paint was basically destroyed, and am considering having it powdercoated. It really depends on whether I can find someone at a reasonable cost.

Any recommendations and approx cost for a frame and fork would be appreciated.

I cannot speak for your area but I just had a frame and fork done last month in Orlando, 2 colors. One solid color should be cheaper.

Diversified Powder Coating 5705 Bethelview Road, Cumming, GA 30040 (770) 887-7722 ‎

Never done business with these folks, but they seem to do a lot of motorcycle frames and parts.

I had an old Raleigh done by Drake Coatings in Monroe a couple years ago for about $60 (I don't remember the exact amount). I was pleased with the work.
