Southern Georgia
I am going to want to head south in late February. I was thinking of driving around 10 hours from my house so that puts me in southern Georgia. I dropped a pin in Nashville Ga and was wondering about riding somewhere in that part of Georgia.

Southeast of Macon is all flat flat flat and sandy with some swampy areas. That's the reason that that southeast quadrant is labeled the coastal plain. I've lived in Valdosta, a small city located about 30 miles south of Nashville which is a small town.
In Waycross that's located about an hour east of Nashville are Laura Walker State Park and the Okeefenokee Swamps, both worthy of an afternoon ride. You can take all day if you like!

Look up the Silver Comet Trail. It starts in Atlanta and runs west to GA and AL line where it links up with another trail. The trails are former railroad routes.
