Cycling Commuter- Friendly Places in Downtown LA?

Quick question: I don't work in downtown LA often, but sometimes I'll attend events there at the Music Center, or like tonight, at Vibiana (old St. Vibiana Cathedral).

Are there any places (cafes, etc.) that are bike commuter friendly for things like changing? Also, it's been a while since I've been to a concert at Vibiana-- is it safe to lock my bike there? Perhaps near a parking lot fence or such? Thanks!

I won't lock up a nice bike anywhere near the Music Center. Just very likely that it will be stolen. Especially more so at night.

Turns out that I could have possibly parked the bike in the courtyard of Vibiana; there were also security guards for the event. Oh well.

A funny thing happened at my local gym in Costa Mesa the other day. The security lady was always on her bike (clearly labeled security in really bold lettering), so I was surprised to see her without a bike one day last week, asked where her bike was, and she replied it had been stolen. She had left it locked somewhere on her dinner break, came back, and the bike was gone.

Not saying security won't have safeguarded your bike, but downtown Los Angeles is a tough place after dark. Even with security.
