I had never been there, since they've been closed for 10 years and riding was a risk of running into a ranger who would write you a ticket and confiscate your bike, but I had heard the legends...

Now they are (partially) open! The wife & I went out to discover them last Saturday, and they are so cool! It is so nice to ride in the shade!

Anybody else been out there since the reopening yet?

We accessed by parking at the end of Park Village Rd, dropping in halfway up the Powerline climb, made it over to Eucalyptus Grove, descended (northwards) into "Tunnel 4", from the bottom we headed rightish and went uphill in another Tunnel (not much signage) until we emerged I don't know where, but the grove was in sight again, then retraced and went home.

So much fun, was planning to explore some more Labor Day, but unfortunately I sprained my ankle playing ultimate on Sunday so it'll be a few weeks before I can get back out there...
