Apologies to anyone from outside SoCal who wandered into this forum and is now rolling their eyes...
It suddenly dropped 25 degrees here compared to how hot it's been lately--kinda nice not sitting in my buttsweat for a change.

Just for a frame of reference, what is considered a cold morning in Southern California?

i'd split the difference between 60 and 78 degrees and say 69 degrees. that's definite arm warmer territory. brrrr. gives me the chills just thinking about it.

45 in the SF Bay area this morning and 19 at Tahoe. Guess it is time to hang the bikes up for the winter. LOL

I grew up in Chicago. I challenge anyone from the snowbelt to come for a night ride with me in the low 50's and tell me it isn't cold
I was hoping it would cool down after that hot October but now that the cool weather is here I'm not sure that I'm ready for it. I've forgotten how much I hate doing intervals when it's dark and cold out.

It was a very welcome 55 at the start of my ride this AM in Indio. By noon it was about 75.
For those who don't know, summer temps in Indio regularly exceed 110. It's been a long summer!

It was 45 at my house in Lake Forest this morning when I got up around 0600. My wife and I went for a ride about 0715, it was pretty chilly, probably just over 50. Fingers got a bit numb coasting down the Jeffrey Open Space Trail, especially in the shade. Just 4 weeks ago it was 108 here!
