Is Peppertree Lane through Brandeis University in Simi Valley open to cyclists? I'm planning a ride in that area next week and would like to include that segment. In the satellite views it appears there are gates at each end that block cars, but a pedestrians or cyclists might be able to gain access. Does anyone know? I'd love to ride it from Topo Canyon Road to Hidden Ranch Road. Thanks in advance.

BUMP, I've always wondered about Peppertree Lane access as well. It also connects to Arness Fire Rd, which will (eventually) get you over the hill into the Chesbro Canyon area....

Anyone?

I've done work there before and I believe there is a guard at the shack on the Tapo side. I'd give the school a call and ask them, or just ride up to the guard and ask really nicely.
