I'm guessing the racers will find a way around the speed limit. 15mph average in a large pack downhill is pretty slow.

That's was fun. One rider went down right next to me, in the same area I saw one go down last year on the final downhill, crazy. I'm actually still riding back. Just stopped at a coffee bean on Venice.

I'm watching now at 7:30 AM. How do those riders get close to the Elite Women?

I remember the guy who went down on San Vicente last year. As he was sliding on his butt, his eyes were huge! He definitely didn't see that coming!

Good fun again...

We waited till most of the riders had taken off already before my son and I started our ride.

We didn't have any problems with holding our own pace.

It got a little bunched up the last few miles near the beach due to the heavy fog this time ... but we just slowed our roll a little and had no problems.

Everyone was very cordial and just kind of laid back.

A lot of good people ... a lot of good fun
