Enjoy the potholes.

But seriously, please report back on how it went. I did it once a few years ago and to use a distinctly military phrase, it was kind of a flustercluck. Fun, but... you know.

I did it last year. It was mostly great. Well organized, except a water shortage at the last rest stop. Which was straightened out in fairly short order.

Whoa, it's tomorrow. Guess I'll miss it. I've heard it's a beautiful ride.

Apologies for the late report, but here goes.

The weather was perfect, of course the wind was always against us on the climbs. How does it do that?

The support stops were great, well staffed.

The 50 mile route went through some rough routes and two broken hips from the same area were reported. I did the century, but will wait for those farm roads to get repaved before trying that again. I take pride in riding a quiet bike. 30 miles in I thought it was a rattle trap. Lots of people flatting

I never saw a support vehicle on the route.

The beauty of that area was incredible. Pictures to follow.

LOL. No, didn't notice you. Ride was great, though.
