Favorite trail ride for beginners

I've been riding Wood Canyon, looking for other easy trail rides (not paved) for my Trek Hybrid.

Thanks

Cherry Canyon

Cherry Canyon looks nice but Wood Canyon is a 10 minute drive, I'm in south OC, thanks.

Crystal Cove Loop, Peters Canyon, Blackstar Canyon, Whiting Loop

Blackstar is a good one, I went with a road bike with 28 mm gp 5000s up that

Crystal Cove Loop, Peters Canyon, Blackstar Canyon, Whiting Loop - I'll check them out, thanks

Crystal Cove Loop - might be a little too much for me - https://www.mtbproject.com/trail/705...loop-bottom-up 7.7 miles, 50% single track, very difficult? I'm a beginner.

Great tips, trying to hit some trails myself....as basically a beginner. thanks everyone

I like my hybrid (Trek DS2) but I've learned it's basically not suited to ride single track rides, better off used on fire roads, campgrounds, lake trail rides and gravel roads that are not rocky, steep, or sandy. I'm still going ride these trail suggestions on a mountain bike, thanks!

There are some fun trails in the north end of UCSD from just north of Geisel Library to Genesee Ave. and east of the athletic fields. The Ropes Course is in the area.
