San Gabriel River Trail CLOSURES??
I have a century planned next week for December 11th and we are riding all of the San Gabriel River Trail.. I heard from one rider that there may be closures.
Looked online and could not see anything official about what sections may be closed.
Has anyone ridden there and have any insight.
Thanks. SoCal Rider

This is all I found but this is just the connector and not the main SGRT.
https://trails.lacounty.gov/Alert/41...porary-closure
In the past when the SGRT was closed, there were work arounds (detours).
Or, the entire SGRT was closed during a COVID shutdown.
Will be riding up about the dam tomorrow and will give a report.

I haven't seen any in the past week or so, but I regularly see friends Strava rides in my feed that include the full length of the SGRT.

The closure in the link is the Lario Park access off Huntington Drive.
It's been closed since they brought the dumpsters and skip loaders in to clean out the bum camp.
I suspect that the long-term closure is to keep them from coming back, or to keep the SJW's from setting up a feeding station again, that turned it into a full-blown encampment.
. The area looked completely cleaned out a couple of weeks ago.
