Gravel event around Glendale today, 01/15?
I live over in Glendale not far from Cherry Canyon - today driving back from La Canada, I saw several riders on gravel bikes with numbers on their bikes, as if they were going to or coming from an event. I searched but didn't find anything--anybody have any info on what it was?
EDIT: it's the LA Tourist event - met a couple guys and asked about it. Will have to try and do it next time!

Yup, LA Tourist Race. It's an insane event, lots of mileage and climbing. Route is not given to participants ahead of time.

Yeah, I remember reading about it on the Radavist I think last year. Looks brutal. I just recovered from Covid so yesterday woulda been a no-go for me! Maybe by the Feb one . . .

A couple of my cycling buddies did the race! With a family and kids, it's hard to plan longer rides without my wife or daughter calling me up asking where I'm at!
