Polomar Mountain & East Grade Loop Saturday, August 26
I am thinking of riding this tomorrow? Anyone interested? I might turn around at the vista point, (~mile 25-27 see gmap), and head back up East grade road. It just depends on how I'm feeling and the weather. I'm not a fast climber, I'm just steady. Last time I did this it took about 2 hours to get to the top, (mile 16).

I'll be awake for a bit tonight... gotta clean my bike and create some Cosina Veloce materials for the MS150 Ride... and prepare for this ride (if we are quick enough and start between 7:30 to 8, we might get in SG, then EG followed by a sweet decent down EG and onto the highway for the 10 mile sprint to the car...)
totally off topic:
My team just became the 4th highest fundraising team (after being dropped from 1st place to 8th) and hopefully 1st in our division (11-24 riders)!!! I also became 4th overall in the individual standings!
This means that I am going to change my signature to point at other people that need donations (Voltman is first on my list).... so support a fellow BF'er in his quest to end MS!!!!!

My team just became the 4th highest fundraising team (after being dropped from 1st place to 8th) and hopefully 1st in our division (11-24 riders)!!! I also became 4th overall in the individual standings!
This means that I am going to change my signature to point at other people that need donations (Voltman is first on my list).... so support a fellow BF'er in his quest to end MS!!!!!

Mike and I had a great time going up Palomar, but we only went up South Grade and down East Grade then back to the start using Highway 76. I cranked up P.S.G. using a 39-19 so that I could pace Mike...
