Can I leave mine behind (pun intended) or would you gals like to look at it too? I figure I'd drop 10 lb detaching that thing myself. Wife will be home soon so I'll see if she's up for the hike. I think this motel in Buellton allows dogs as well. If not, we'll bring a tend and camp at the RV Park!

I think I'm gonna have to skip out on this one. There aren't any hotels in Solvang still available and I know it will be a pain to find parking. I was planning on booking this back in September but my crash left me wondering if I would be back on the bike in time. Still just barely thinking I could work up to that long of a ride. I wanted to relive my teen years as this was my first organized ride ever. Maybe next year.

If it is 2.5 hours from Paso Robles to Santa Cruz, is should just take a little over an hour from Paso Robles to Solvang.
I just checked mapquest from Santa Cruz to Solvang and it shows: Total Est. Time: 3 hours, 52 minutes Total Est. Distance: 230.36 miles Plus if you drive like most people from California, 3.5 hours should be easy.
