Black can get kinda hot to have on you head all day, and white is well white. I personally like the blue and white combo, are they out of stock on the other colors?

Forgot to mention - got a pair of Rudy Project Rydon's with the polarized Photochromic lenses - tracking says UPS is supposed to deliver tody. I've been sitting pretty here waiting for the dude in brown to show up - better come soon because I need to get grocery shopping for dinner.

It's the Giro Atmos Lone Star 7 - commemorating Lance's 7 wins. It's a sweet flat black with the lone white star and blue flames.

Got myself a new helmet (Giro Atmos, white) and some Gookinaid (lemon-flavored) to try out. I'm having the Gookinaid at half stength with dinner to see how it tastes. So far, it just tastes like slightly salty water with a hint of lemon. I'll take it on my morning ride tomorrow if I wake up in time. (Didn't sleep so well last night, so who knows.)

I have a bunch of those packets, and think they are all rather weak tasting (flavor wise), so try it full strength next time.

I will on my next glassful (coming up soon).

I was going to try a Brooks first but if I ended up liking it, I'd have to butcher it and that wouldn't be a pretty sight. :D

helmets are like saddles...very personal....and to each his own... I really wanted to like the atmos....but I have a "bell" head. Even with that said....I loved the feel of the mid-range Bell Furio over the more expensive Ghisallo and Slant helmets... Find what you like and what feels right!

I am having buyers remorse for spending extra for the cool flat black paint job/special edition. I think I'll take it back tomorrow and opt for the "standard" one.

Just ammortize the extra cost over the next 2 years or so of use, and you'll realize the special edition was totally worth it after all. :p

Plus it makes you look like a Dallas cowboys fan.

And don't forget, it won't match our black and red SoCal jersey.
