Nov 18th MTB Group Ride #2

With the great success of the last group ride at Chino Hill Rec Park. We'll plan the next group ride at the same location and same time.
Location: Chino Hill Rec Park off Carbon Canyon
Time: Ride time 9am, meeting time 8-8:45am
Ride Details: I vote for 2 group split at the fire road after Bovian. I choose this so some of us to can Bovian Single track as a warm up to Raptors Ridge, plus it a fun lil trail.
Group A, can take the fire road back to telegraph Canyon Trail like we did last time. This ride length was about 14.5 miles. Very mellow ride, with a few climbs to the end.
Group B, will back track on Bovian single track to 4 corners, and ride raptors ridge to where ever it spits out at. Do some large loop and end up back on Telegraph somehow. I'm looking to put in about 25 miles on group B. Again I don't know this trail but I do not mind getting lost and putting more miles in.
Post ride meal I vote for the same location, great food and decent price and great food and I can have a beer this time!!!! If riders from Group A want to join the post ride, they can either wait at the parking lot for Group B or go to the resturant and get a large table for the group.

i don't know ANYTHING about the trails... but i'd like something a little longer since everything is such a drive for us! do either of these offer longer beginner/easy trails, too?
(i think both involve driving for us.... but that's ok.... i think murrietta may be a tad bit closer... and might be easier for tracy to get there with child care issues.... baldy sounds fun, too though! so i'm game for either but would LOVE to do longer but would need someone to guide me through cuz i don't know the areas!!!!!)

Marshall Cyn is part or connected to Claremont Hills Wilderness Park(where I ride mtb). You could do 1/2 loop up CHWP,then down to Marshall Cyn, back up to CHWP and maybe up to Potato mtn(another 5 rough terrain/loose miles up,but after you get 1 1/2 mile dh).
Be about 15 miles up and down,then another 7(?) straight down!

Fullerton Loop is close and is 12miles and Aliso Woods can be as short or long as you want it....

I think Aliso Woods might be a good option.... you can do multiple loops or choose different routes....

Honestly I don't know what everyone's skill level is. Chino was a mellow ride and everyone seemed happy with the trail.
Santa Rosa is pretty much flat hense the name, lots of small roller and most of the trail is on single or double tracks. Very easy trail, 7 miles a loops 30-50 min laps, If we do that trail, I'd op for doing 2-3 loops to get the miles and more fun in. Everyone is always a bit edgy the first time riding a new trail, doing more laps helps build up the confidence on the dirt.
Bonelli is another paid parking lot, fun loop. One hike a bike section and some good size hills on the back side. Again, I'd suggest laps there too. 60-80 minutes per lap

... so pick something easy I vote for easy...since I have only ridden in dirt once before...and went sailing off the bike that time!!
Murrietta is a bit far for me...North OC or Carbon Cyn is fine...Baldy area works as well..
