Tour of 5 Counties Canceled

The Tour of 5 Counties on Oct 14th has been officially canceled. If there is enough interest, the LA Wheelmen will replace it with a ride from Malibu, up the coast to Camarillo, back through Moorpark, to Thousand Oaks, Agoura, Calabasas and to Malibu. 98 miles, 7000'.

If interested, send an email to roddoty@earthlink.net with 'Just Do It' on the subject line.

vg, it is indeed one of my favorite rides and I would be game to do it. Perhaps in November so we don't have to inhale too much ash?

Tall John would know of all the water stops. If we wait too long it gets really cold.

Who is this Tall John you speak of?
I love that ride, but it would suck to breath ash, but I'd rather do that then ride PCH anytime.

Instead of 5 counties, drive a little further and do Spooktacular put on by the Kern Wheelmen. I'm riding it with some friends. Depending on which century route you pick, there are two rides one is 10,000+ ft of climbing and the other is 8,600 ft of climbing.
