We can start at Jamboree/Santiago Cyn and create a loop from there or Bonita Creek Park (I think that's the name of it) that's closer to the Back Bay. I'd like to do 40ish miles.

If you have a preference or better starting place, please chime in!!

If we do Bonita Creek that's going to be closer to 50, IIRC. I personally, won't have time (or endurance for that matter) for that on Sunday.

Why don't you guys meet at the Red Robin parking lot at the Tustin Market place? Or if you don't want to shoot up Jamboree all the way, start at the McDonalds on Tustin Ranch.

Ok, let's head offline and plan an acceptable route before we start confusing everyone.

Back to this thread in 3.2.1....

I think the OC short ride we did last November was:
Red Robin, left on Jamboree
Right on SCC
Left on Portola
Right on El Toro
Right on Trabuco (becomes Irvine)
Right on Sand Canyon
Left on (?)
Left on Jamboree, Red Robin

It was around 37 miles I think.

What time are you meeting for this ride? Sunday morning I'm available but I'd need to be back in O'side by 11:30AM at the latest.

Ok, change of plan. Santiago is out and Newport Coast is in. Here's the route slip: https://www.routeslip.com/map.php?map=10476

Starting at Bonita Creek Park to Newport Coast, PCH to HB then back to Dover to hop in to the Back Bay. 30ish miles.

Meet at 7:00 for a 7:15 roll time?

Hope this works for everyone interested...

Hop in the car with Tracy when she comes up. What I failed to mention is that is part of a pretty brutal climb. Its pretty steep, but you can hear the water in the creek running below.

So that's when I would get off my bike because I couldn't make it up the climb, lay (lie?) down and listen to the relaxing water in the creek running below.

Oh, you could make it up the hill. The running water takes your mind off the climb.

The running water would put my mind on having to pee, so I'd be off of the bike every ten minutes. Then in an attempt to avoid having to pee all the time, I'd stop hydrating and keel over. Thanks injured, it's all your fault!
