Phil, Matteo and all other MS 150 riders -
You guys have a wonderful time on your ride this weekend. What an incredible endeavor! You have not only raised valuable funds for such a worthy cause, but you are all going to smoke those 150 miles! We'll be thinking of you guys down there in San Diego!

You could volunteer to fix flats for the riders.:p

What time are the riders going to be on the road? I'm headed north from Del Mar to San Onofre and back tomorrow morning, and wonder if I will run into them.

Our departure time depends on whether we wind up doing the century or not. If we do, we'll leave around 7:00. If we don't, we'll leave a bit later, probably 8:00ish.

Thanks for all the well wishes. This used to be our big ride of the year. Now, since we've met all you ultra-speedy sandbaggers, it's become a bit anti-climatic. But still a great ride, with great people.

What's this "if" business?

My heart goes out to the rider who fell 2.5 miles into the ride and broke his shoulder.... Right in front of our fire station. I fixed him up and sent him on his way in the sag wagon. Speedy recovery.

To whomever broke their shoulder, I hope that you feel better soon and I am very happy that it was right in front of the firestation that housed Bill (Thanks for being there!).

I had not heard about that one yet. I only heard that someone dislocated their shoulder and popped it back in themselves...

I'll talk about the major incident in my blog. Needless to say my work on the bike path in Dana Point might be thrown out. slimy ba$tards! :mad: :mad: :mad:
