What we know now...double metric training ride in prep for double centuries. Route will stick mainly to Coast Highway with very little elevation gain. Short, minimal stops so come prepared with snacks!

I'll probably do a shorter route... maybe 80-100 miles... that way I'll have a head start back and have a chance of finishing around the same time

Oh...and I'm planning the start/finish in HB, so you all know that means that we end with Los Primos Cantina.

my friends and I used to do a train ride that starts from Solona Beach Amtrack up to San Juan. We'd take the train up, then ride back down w/ some tail wind on a good day. Something simular would be cool. I liked that long strech on the camp grounds and the base to open up the top speed flatland contest Our route that we take was about 55 miles or so

I should be up for another coastal ride. I/We won't have a drunk feast party the night before so we should be OK

Instead of riding, I volunteer to man the start/finish line.

Hi,

Put me down for this one for now. Too early in the year for a double metric for me, but I would be interested in turning around at San Onofre. That would give me some time to socialize and take some pictures.

I am probably solo for this one, we are going to ME's Dec 30th ride, then the Stagecoach the following weekend, so he will most likely want a local ride on the 6th, but I would be definately interested in carpooling !

Thanks...Karen

We can both talk Bill's ear off, Karen. I'll take the left ear and you can take the right (i.e. you can sit up front )
